My name is Philippa Haney. I am an aspiring artist who lives in the Bay Area. This website will give insight into who I am as an artist. In my portfolio, you will find a diverse collection of my works, ranging from painting to digital art. Each piece represents a unique chapter of my artistic life and showcases my evolving skills and creative explorations.
My Story
All my life, I have created stories and drawn characters, both real and fictional, to help me better express my emotions. It wasn't until much more recently that I was able to exit my comfort zone and actually begin to create these stories in real life. I have always loved art because I have never considered it something you use your brain for. Human beings were designed to be tool makers; innovators. Art is something, I feel, that is meant to stimulate your primary senses. Creating art is like an instinct, a seventh sense if you will. I've always had trouble trusting my instincts in the past because I have always felt that they were wrong. But after learning to trust myself and embrace myself I have come to learn it is never wrong to trust your instincts. "Creativity comes from trust. Trust your instincts.
